Accessibility statement#
UK SQE Course wants everyone preparing for the SQE to be able to use the platform. This statement applies to uksqecourse.com and the signed-in study area.
UK SQE Course is an independent SQE preparation provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed or accredited by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) or Kaplan SQE. We do not register candidates for the SQE and cannot guarantee exam results.
1. Our standard#
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA. We design with semantic HTML, keyboard operation, visible focus, sufficient colour contrast and screen reader support. We test with automated tools and manual checks and we review accessibility when we add new features.
2. Features that help#
- Full keyboard navigation and a skip-to-content link.
- Adjustable text size, high-contrast mode, reduced motion and a dyslexia-friendly font (Settings, Preferences).
- Correct and incorrect answers are always shown with text and icons, never by colour alone.
- Timed mock exams: reasonable-adjustment support, see section 4.
- Captions or transcripts for video and audio content, where provided.
- Content works on phones, tablets and desktops and can be zoomed to 200% without loss of content.
3. Known limitations#
We are working to fix the following:
- Some older PDF resources and third-party embedded materials may not be fully accessible. Ask us for an alternative format.
- Some complex diagrams and mind maps may be harder to use with a screen reader; text outlines are provided where we can.
- Live sessions delivered through third-party video tools depend on that tool's accessibility.
4. Reasonable adjustments for exams and practice#
If you have been granted reasonable adjustments by the SRA for the SQE, tell us and we will help you configure practice timings for your preparation, for example extra time or breaks. Our adjustments are for practice only and do not replace or evidence the arrangements the SRA grants.
5. Getting help or reporting a problem#
Email support@uksqecourse.com or use Support in your account. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do and any assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within 2 working days and to provide content in an alternative format (large print, plain text, audio) within 10 working days.
6. Enforcement#
If you are not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS). Our duties under the Equality Act 2010 apply to our service.
7. Review#
This statement was prepared in September 2026. We review it at least every 12 months and whenever we make significant changes to the platform.
