What is private to you
Your practice answers, mock results, personal notes, flashcards, SQE2 submissions and AI conversations belong to your account. Other students cannot see them.
What instructors and institutions can see
- Course instructors see course-scoped information such as attendance and questions you post to the course Q&A.
- Institution administrators (if you were given a seat by an employer or university) see aggregated, anonymised reporting. They do not see your individual answers, private notes or AI conversations.
- Staff access your account only where needed to support you or to meet legal duties, and staff actions are recorded in an audit log.
AI features and your data
When you use the AI tutor, AI marking or diagnosis, the relevant content is sent to our AI provider to generate the response. We record a summary of each interaction so that quality can be reviewed and usage limits applied. In Settings → Preferences you can opt out of your AI conversations being used for quality improvement. Our AI Policy and Privacy Policy give the full detail.
Cohort comparisons and gamification
Comparing your results with a cohort is optional and uses only anonymised data from a large enough group. Streaks and badges are optional too. Both can be switched off in Settings → Preferences.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correction or deletion. See Your personal data: access, export and deletion.
